'Tis the season to indulge – and how better to do that than with a festive pud. Whether you have a penchant for traditional mince pies and Christmas pudding or crave something completely different, we have an easy recipe to satisfy your dinner guests. So, carve out some 'me' time in the kitchen, put the Christmas music on and bake up a storm.

1. The ultimate Christmas brownies

Brownies topped with truffles, biscuits and rosemary with icing sugar
Festive flourishes and edible add-ons make these brownies extra special. Sprinkle over crunchy amaretti biscuits, rich chocolate truffles and a spritz of edible gold spray, then watch jaws drop as you bring them to the table. Dust with icing sugar to create a snowy scene.
If you'd like another Christmassy take on brownies where the presentation has even more wow factor, spend a little more time to make our mulled wine brownie surprise. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

2. Christmas pudding cheesecake

Do your family and friends prefer a slice of cheesecake to a scoop of Christmas pudding? Give them our Christmas pudding cheesecake to get all the classic flavours of Christmas in a smoother, creamier package. A glug of brandy brightens up a rich vanilla mix on a crunchy ginger base.
Try a slice with a cup of our cinnamon butter rum or Christmas coffee.

3. White chocolate, orange & cranberry Christmas cake

We love a surprise at Christmas and this chocolate orange bombe, with its hidden cream cheese and cranberry filling, doesn't disappoint. Impressive to look at and easy to execute, this stunning pud is one for impressing a crowd.
You can also make some cake truffles with your unused cake crumbs and leftover chocolate. Simply scoop your mix into balls and roll into truffles, then dust with cocoa and chill until you're ready to scoff 'em.

9. Black Forest trifle

Trifle is a Christmas classic, but you can reinvent it in countless ways. James Martin's Black Forest trifle is a beauty, but it won't keep you tied to the kitchen. It needs just a few key ingredients (some of them, shop-bought) and careful assembly to achieve a creamy, dreamy, kirsch-laced delight.
